Roles & Responsibilities

You shall be responsible for the accounting, financial and tax management, and banking functions in addition to supervision of local & overseas accounts teams. Your focus will also include liaison with auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities.

Job description

• Manage the accounting functions of the group to ensure the timely preparation of management accounts of the group companies, ensure compliance to the statutory requirements and filling of tax returns.

• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, governments authorities, clients and suppliers on related matters.

• Ensure a high degree of productivity through proper selection, orientation, training and counselling of accounting staff if necessary.

• Identify weakness in the operating system if any and implement internal control measures.

• Responsible for the consolidation of group accounts.

• Prepare statistical reports required by management to make timely business decisions.

• Ensure the proper accountability of inventory and fixed assets by the country managers in different territories that the group operates.

• Assist CEO, CFO and divisional managers in the preparation of annual budget.

• Responsible for the smooth implementation of all the accounting modules of the MS Navision ERP system.

• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your reporting manager or management may deem fit.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or ACCA with 10 years of relevant working experience with strong hands-on exposure in MNC.

• Preferably with 5 years of leadership experience and CPA certified.

• Good working knowledge in GST, corporate taxation, cross border taxation and accounting standards.

• Familiar working with ERP Systems preferably Navision and good knowledge in Finance process or procedure.

• Ability to work effectively and accurately on multiple tasks and manage own deadlines.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
