With a strong desire for continuous growth and development, the team is looking for a Head of Risk and Compliance to execute strategic risk management and governance for the Group.

Description

  • Reporting to the CEO/CFO, you will partner with C-Suite leaders to manage the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, ensure relevance to changing business needs and landscape
  • Redesign framework, raise awareness among leadership team on risks through collaboration
  • Execution of the annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercise of the company, coordinating with different departments to access critical needs and recommend necessary actions
  • Perform due diligence, evaluating opportunities and risks of the shipping industry, design mitigation strategies for business initiatives including investment and divestment
  • Able to evaluate financial models and financial data, advise on investment compliance

Profile

  • Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Banking with at least 15 years of working experience in Risk, ERM
  • Experience across all risk domains such as credit, investments, enterprise, operational etc within shipping industry
  • Experience with design frameworks from scratch, understand risk and compliance needs of an established set up
  • Proficient using data analysis tool (SQL), derive data and input into presentation decks for management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, confident to engage with leadership and escalate issues
