Plant Controller (Pharma Manufacturing - Open for Expat)

Description

• Responsible on the manufacturing costing and detailed cost variance analysis
• Plans, studies, and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw materials purchases, inventory and labour
• Analyses data collected and records results, and provides budgetary controls over costs of procurement, production, sales and management
• Analyses changes in product specifications, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
• Look into manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report for comparison
• Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors relevant to costs of products or services
• Conducts physical inventories cycle count programs
• Reconciles finished goods inventories
• Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with recording and reporting manufacturing costs and inventory
• Develops and documents policies and procedures on budgetary controls and inventory audits
• Assist in developing and documenting costing policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls
• Oversee costing of plant, set goals and objectives, develop strategies to form framework design, SOP and right way of recording standard costing and ABC costing
• Co-ordinate with all other head of department in implementing the full utilisation of the ERP to enhance internal controls and provide more timely and accurate reporting of key financial and operational data
• Analyse and co-ordinate with all other head of department in developing, implementing the costs improvement, and saving initiative
• Review and monitor the financial, management and statutory reporting including implementing and reviewing various accounting systems and internal control procedures for the plant
• Work with your direct report and oversight the corporate governance, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations for all costing matters

Profile

• Degree in Finance and Accounting
• CIMA preferred
• Strong manufacturing experience in FMCG/Pharma/Retail can be added advantage
• Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principals
• Computer Literate-Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
• Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report
• Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and influence business decisions using appropriate, fact-based financial information
• Strong written and oral communications skills at all levels
• Pro-active approach, capable of working in own initiative and within tight timeliness
• Willing to work in Enstek
