We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join us in our Fund Accounting team. In this role you would be leading a team of Accountants and Analysts in a growing area of our business.
Location: Birmingham, Wythall, Telford
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, 38 days holiday, 16-32% bonus, 10% pension

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of business accountancy knowledge and understanding of multiple different reporting
- Lead a team of Accountants and Analysts
- Lead, develop, coach and mentor others to maximise their contribution and ensure they are fairly rewarded.
- To manage the processes to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage to ensure all data is prepared and reported in accordance with relevant reporting standards and business reporting requirements.
- Maintaining up to date professional knowledge in an environment of fast moving regulatory change.
- Maintaining and applying knowledge of multiple reporting basis and overseeing team development.
- Manage the process in influencing decisions across the organisation teams where priorities and interests are often conflicting.
- Communicating complex accounting procedures and principles with multiple stakeholders across the business both in the UK and potentially globally and influencing outcomes.
- Works within defined Finance standards and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership to less experienced or non accountancy qualified employees within the wider team.
- Acts as an escalation point for resolution of issues or decisions for assigned deliverables.
- Have responsibility to sign-off the work of other accountants
