Audit Manager (French Language Specialist)

The opportunity

Assurance team provides services related to independent assessment of process and controls using a global audit methodology and deploying the latest, high-quality auditing tools and technologies.

In Assurance you will be a part of the Team performing independent validation of companies' accounts - making sure they are correct. You will be identifying potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements with detailed analytical trend analysis. You will also be responsible for completing planning procedures, testing internal controls, verifying, and testing financial statements and supporting documents, examining financial and accounting records.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead & Co-lead the audit engagements for international clients within international team.
• Assist managers in leading a team of professionals in carrying out assurance assignments.
• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from analysis of financial statements.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures, controls and processes.
• Collect financial data from the client and analyse & audit data for possible risks.
• Standardize review processes along with leveraging best practices across one's aligned engagements or beyond.
• Coach your younger colleagues.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• University degree with a very good understanding of accounting and assurance concepts.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in assurance or accounting.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret accounting and assurance standards.
• Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP and International review standards.
• Good French (at least B2) and very good English (at least C1) language skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent MS Office Skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Ideally, you'll also have

• ACCA, CPA or similar other relevant qualification in progress.
• More advanced tools such as SQL, PowerBI.
