In this role, you'll work as a Data Analyst focused on supporting Everyday Banking in Santander. You will be a subject matter expert for the Complaints channel, supporting the production of daily, weekly, and monthly MI dashboards, analysing data, and building reports to help understand the performance of the channel. The work you do will support the leadership with coaching and development and help them make key decisions and planning.

This role involves maintaining and improving the existing suite of management information reporting, producing analysis on key issues or topics of interest, and interpreting data to produce new insights.

The difference you'll make.

  • Producing the current suite of regular management reporting in an accurate and timely manner following team and brand guidelines
  • Automating processes where possible, moving existing reporting away from excel and into BI tools
  • Analysing data to identify trends or highlights to support Everyday Banking
  • Liaising with stakeholders to understand business issues & analytical requirements
  • Developing a self-service model to enable stakeholders to get answers to common data questions
  • Supporting with requests and queries and responding to them and where possible resolving them in a timely manner

What you'll bring.

  • Proficient knowledge and experience of working with MS Excel
  • Good working knowledge of Complaints data and operating model

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Basic understanding of SQL, SAS or VBA or other coding experience (e.g. Hadoop/Data Lake, Python)
  • Experience of working with BI Tools e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate at all levels through a variety of methods
  • Analytical mindset & natural problem solver

What else you need to know.

This role would be based in Milton Keynes.

The role is currently expected to work at least 1 day per week in the office and work from home for the rest of the week.
