Assistant Finance Business Partner

Working within our CFO division, you'll ensure that data across the bank is managed, validated and made available to the finance and risk community for data analysis. You'll assist the Finance Business Partners operating as a key contact and subject matter expert. You'll be working with both legacy and strategic platforms to provide consolidated data that is fit for the wider bank to use.

The difference you'll make.

• Liaising between business and cost reporting and planning to ensure all budget/forecasts requirements are captured and challenges are relayed

• Supporting in the provision full transparency of all risks and opportunities, embedded challenges and support the business in creating detailed plans to address them

• Improving and understanding the impact of financial reporting on business performance to provide data insights to better support business decisions across the bank

• Assisting in the provision of analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies

• Reporting of costs covering actual v budget variances including individual business performance/P&Ls

• Supporting the development of effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered

What you'll bring.

• Experience understanding and analysing data to review business performance.

• Experience in reporting costs with the ability to interpret and evaluate information and make recommendations.

It would also be nice for you to have.

• Strong influencing, stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.

• Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships within and outside Finance through personal credibility and delivery of results.

• Able to develop own functional plans, with the ability to manage multiple, conflicting interests and deadlines.

This is a full-time permanent position offering flexible working between home and the office.
