Technology delivers the Group’s information technology to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation.

TechnologyFinance is responsible for the provision of financialcontrol andmanagement services to the Technology division.

We work closely with our stakeholdersto help them understand their technology and operations costs and delivercurrent and future strategic and financial plans.

The Project Delivery team is responsible for delivering a number of strategic priorities for the Technology Finance team, including workforce forecasting enhancements and process improvements.

Your team’s primary roles is to:

  • Work with teams across the Bank to drive and implement strategic initiatives that improve the output and experience of the Technology Finance team
  • Work closely with the Technology Finance team to provide insights, analysis and improvement recommendations in relation to existing finance processes
  • Enhance processes that support the delivery of meaningful insights and drive better business outcomes by improving resource management, cost optimisation and simplification

Key duties will include:

  • Owning and driving multiple Technology Finance strategic initiatives
  • Co-ordinating and supporting the implementation of new processes within Technology Finance
  • Working closely with Technology Finance and other teams within the Bank to thoroughly understand end to end processes in order to recommend improvements and system enhancements
  • Assessing and recommending system enhancements or tooling
  • Working collaboratively to ensure best outcomes are delivered in a timely manner and presenting progress and outcomes to a broad range of stakeholder groups

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks;
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with an advantage including demonstrated experience in accounting and financial management (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with proven experience in advising, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders and business outcomes;
  • Advanced level of Excel and Powerpoint
