We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven Business Analyst in an agile squad based in Nottingham. Working within an Agile Delivery Framework, the successful individual will be responsible for delivery of key enhancements for our World-Check One solution through accurately translating business requirements, into data and technical user stories.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Document and translate business requirements into detailed user stories, along with crafting supporting documentation in Confluence
  • Own and maintain user story backlog in JIRA, prioritising where required
  • Collaborate and build relationships with Scrum Teams, Developers, Product Owners, and other key team members
  • Actively look to resolve, mitigate, raise, and share risks and issues in a timely manner and set and handle stakeholder expectations accordingly
  • Responsible for providing regular updates to collaborators and team members
  • Attend daily stand-up and refinement sessions and respond to queries promptly
Essential Skills / Experience:
  • BCS Business Analysis Foundation level/ IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis or 2 years working in Analysis.
  • Good working experience with Agile and Scrum, with experience of performing business analysis activities in a scalable Agile environment.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical leads, development, and functional testing team members, to ensure the business need and related requirements are well understood.
  • Strong 'soft' skills with the ability to communicate requirements in a clear, accurate, concise, engaging and detailed manner to collaborators across the board
  • Experience in using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results without compromising quality
