Assistant Management Accountant (Part Qualified or QBE, HYBRID)

The Assistant Management Accountant (Part Qualified or QBE, HYBRID) plays a key role supporting the Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) team.

Client Details

A medium sized business with a long standing reputation, based in an attractive setting in the Cobham area with free parking provided, but limited access via public transport.

This is a Hybrid role and can offer 3-4 days home working per week (1-2 days office based per week)

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant (Part Qualified or QBE, HYBRID) role involves:

• Assist with the timely production of monthly management accounts for all companies within the Group.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators for the Group.
• Assist with the timely production of VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of files for annual audit.
• Calculation of accruals and prepayments
• Maintenance of fixed asset ledger
• Maintenance of intercompany accounts.
• Preparation of month end reconciliations.
• Assist in the monitoring of financial controls
• Assist in the development and maintenance of all financial IT systems

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant (Part Qualified or QBE, HYBRID) role will:

• Have general Accounting / Management Accounting background.
• Ideally be part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACCA, but also willing to consider AAT or QBE applicants.
• Will have strong Excel and IT skills as this will be highly utilised in your day to day duties.
• strong interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with senior stakeholders.
• Ideally be a driver and live locally (although only 1-2 days per week in the office)

Job Offer
