Our client is a listed Luxury Retail company with a wide range of brands under their portfolio and they are currently looking for an Accountant to join them.

about the job

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be leading a team of executives and be responsible for the daily accounting operations as well as ensure timely preparation of monthly financial packages and management reporting. You will also be reviewing and validating monthly financial schedules in addition to liaising with auditors and tax agents and help to drive operational excellence and governance. The ideal candidate is one who is technically strong ideally in IFRS16 and understands Singapore tax along with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.

skills and experience required

You should be degree qualified in accounting/finance with at least 4 years of full sets of accounts experience. We are also open to consider candidates from Big4 audit who are looking for commercial opportunities. You should be proficient in Microsoft office applications. You are dynamic, willing to learn and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders.
