Head of Service Transformation and Assurance

Blackpool Childrens Services are looking for a Transformation and Assurance Head of Service.

As part of our improvement journey, we want to transform the experience and the outcomes we achieve with children and families in Blackpool

This is an exciting role which will influence shape and ultimately lead the transformation of Children's Social Care and Education in Blackpool. This role will be key to driving continuous improvement as part of our "Getting to Good Journey" and the "Levelling Up" opportunities for Blackpool children and families. The successful candidate will work with partners and corporate colleagues to transform the delivery of services to Blackpool families through service planning and redesign, workforce development and management of associated people and budgets. The role will work to and alongside the Director of Children's Services, and the Assistant Directors for Children's Social Care and Education. In addition, the successful candidate will lead the Quality Assurance Service for Children's Social Care - ensuring that information from a range of sources, audit, performance information and outcome measures is used to drive the areas of focus for improvement and support the transformation of services.
