Zions has an excellent opportunity available for a Financial Planning Analyst Intern to join our Wealth Management division. Key responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Assist in initial document review and client account setup for new financial planning clients
- Provide some administrative support for the team in reviewing initial client information
- Organize information to prepare for creation of initial plan on eMoney software website
- Analyze wills, trust, and financial statements to make recommendations to Financial Planners and Financial Analysts
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, financial planning, or other related field.
- Progress in Certified Financial Planning certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with the financial planning process (balance sheets, cash flow statements, estate planning documents)
- Basic knowledge in estate planning, investment planning, retirement planning, personal net worth and cash flow statements, insurance, and asset protection.
- Must be organized, contentious, and detail oriented.
