Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager with experience in the construction industry to join a growing business. Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will manage the day-to-day finances of the company.

My client is a growing construction company who have ambitious plans to grow. Their head office is based in the City of London.

Description

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Update weekly cashflows for Finance Director's review
• Produce and executive weekly payment runs based on weekly cashflows
• Work closely with project managers on project margins, project cashflows and billing
• Weekly project managers meeting
• Credit control and oversee bank reconciliation
• Month end journals and processes
• Produce and submit VAT and CIS returns
• Coordinate yearend audit
• Ad-hoc assignments as instructed by Finance Director

Profile

To be considered for this Finance Manager role you must have the following:

Experience in a managerial role in Finance in UK based construction company Knowledge of Sage 50 Construction & Project accounting Working experience of CIS, Retentions, Reverse Charge VAT, CVRs
