Job Profile

1. India coverage

• Assisting in providing technical advice on positions to be adopted from direct tax (including transfer pricing) and GST perspective on business transactions.
• Managing direct tax compliances viz. review of advance tax computations, corporate tax returns, various direct tax related forms, tax audit / TP accountant report, etc.
• Assisting in maintaining supporting documents / position papers from direct tax (including transfer pricing) and GST assessment perspective.
• Monitor and manage GST compliances (periodic returns and refund filings), intimate due date in advance and ensure that GST returns deadlines are not missed by co-ordinating with FCG team
• Assist team members in compilation of details on direct tax, service tax and GST audits / litigations
• Assisting in review of direct tax, service tax and GST related assessment and litigation submissions
• Keeping abreast of changes to both direct tax & GST rule / regulations, judicial precedents for impact analysis
• Effectively working with tax consultants to get appropriate output from them in timely manner.

2. Other Asian countries ( viz Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore) - Candidate may be trained to cover onshore taxation of these countries such that following functions can be effectively managed:

• Assisting in providing technical advice on positions to be adopted from direct tax (including transfer pricing).
• Managing direct tax compliances viz. review of advance tax computations, corporate tax returns, various direct tax related forms, tax audit / TP accountant report, etc.
• Effectively working with tax consultants in respective jurisdictions to get appropriate output from them in timely manner.
• Reviewing and providing tax implications to Business on new product launches in Singapore.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.
• The candidate should have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• The candidate should have minimum work experience of 6-8 years
