Fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a Multinational Retail Organisation

Client Details

Our client is a Multinational and highly renowned Retail organisation with HQ in Melbourne's CBD. They currently operate over 300 stores across Australia/NZ, and the intention to grow this to over 400 by 2023. Currently, they are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their high-performing team.

Description

Reporting in to the Regional Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Timely and accurate preparation of Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet for a portfolio of stores on a monthly basis
• Provide commentary & analysis for significant variances
• Ensure all reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
• Liaise with all store partners and other stakeholders and provision of accurate information for analysis of store performance
• Lodge monthly Income Activity Statements/Quarterly BAS on a timely basis.
• Accurate bank reconciliations for all store bank accounts
• Liaise with Tax Manager with year-end tax returns for all stores
• Any other tasks/projects as requested by the Regional Finance Manager

Profile

You will be CA/CPA Qualified with at least 2-3 years' experience within a Financial Services and/or Public Practice firm. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be highly motivated & career-driven. You will have experience in a client-facing role and have the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
