The purpose of the role is to administer the system used to collect funds from our various income streams, and process staff expenses. Including maintaining the mileage records producing the monthly journal, and administer the corporate credit card scheme.

Client Details

A prestigious employer based in the Cobham area with lots of free parking available (must be a driver, as access via public trasnport is not possible).

This is a hybrid role, offering a few days of home working per week.

Description

The Finance Assistant Administrator (Hybrid)

  • Administer the Pay system; the creation of activation letters, dealing with queries and password resets and manage the communications for chasing of debt/low balances
  • Produce monthly/weekly income reports
  • Set up and train users within the Natwest One Card system, ensuring expenses are coded and authorised in accordance with the month end timetable
  • Responsible for reconciling and chasing sundry debtors and sundry creditors
  • Process staff expenses in accordance with guidelines including maintaining the mileage records producing the monthly journal
  • Deal with suppliers queries by phone, email or in person in a helpful, supportive and proactive manner
  • Build strong relationships with other departments
  • Make trips to the local bank branch for deposits/collections as required
  • Provide support for the Banking Assistant and other areas of Finance
  • Undertake ad hoc duties and reporting as required

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Finance Assistant Administrator (Hybrid) role will have:

  • Experience working within a Finance team desired, preferably with accounts receivable/credit control/accounts payable experience
  • GCSE English and Mathematics essential
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft office packages, email systems and spreadsheets essential. e.g. formulae, v looks ups, pivot tables, mail merges
  • Team worker
  • Must live within a commutable distance, and be a driver

Job Offer

The Finance Assistant Administrator (Hybrid) role offers a base salary of £22,000 - £25,500, plus excellent benefits, hybrid working, and study support is available for the right candidate.
