A fantastic opportunity has been made available to join the bank as a Data Management Analyst.
Good quality data is at the heart of every financial services company and as a Data Quality Analyst, you'll play a key part in increasing our Data Analysis capability, combining a range of technical skills with business knowledge to provide business users with the information they need to trust in their data. Since everything that we do affects the core data that the banks products and infrastructure rely on, you will be required to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy to prevent and mitigate risks.
The difference you will make.
Reviewing data sources and data flows, identifying and prioritising points of data quality risks
Using basic-intermediate level SQL to design and implement tests that identify poor quality data
Evaluating data quality results; assessing and clearly communicating the impacts to data users
Supporting the resolution of data issues in conjunction with internal stakeholders and IT
Analysing and implementing data change requests from internal customers
What you'll bring.
Good Excel/Access skills, including function chaining and reviewing large datasets
Good written and verbal communication skills
It would also be nice for you to have.
SQL skills
Knowledge of relational databases
Understanding of Santander's Banking/Savings portfolio
Understanding of Santander's internal structures
What else you need to know.
The role is Milton Keynes based, but with some hybrid/remote working. Attendance at the Milton Keynes office will be on a 2 days per week minimum basis, or as agreed with your Line Manager.
Interviews - the first stage will consist of short Excel based test and competency questions, followed by second stage interview covering previous experience.
