Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing boutique Chartered practice, located on the High Street in Brentwood, Essex. We are an ACCA approved employer and provide full CPD support. You will be joining a small team responsible for the statutory reporting and compliance obligations of our limited company clients. With the support of the wider tax team, you will be responsible for the preparation and submissions of limited company accounts and associated corporation tax returns. You will also have exposure to ad hoc management reporting and tax work including preparation of personal tax returns. You will manage a small team of qualified and part qualified accountants and bookkeepers. You will manage the VAT reporting and CIS reporting with the assistance of our wider tax team. You will be responsible for manging HMRC enquiries into any returns submitted. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, having both the soft and technical skills to manage and prioritise a diverse workflow. You will have direct contact with clients and other senior stakeholders. You should be comfortable communicating with clients, partners and HMRC and must have outstanding professional written and verbal English.

Software Essentials

IRIS, Quickbooks, XERO, SAGE, MS Office

The successful candidate will be technically strong across FRS and Corporation Tax.

You will be qualified ACA/ACCA with minimum of 8 years practice experience. You will reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Brentwood office.
