Goals
Company goals for the candidate that should be solved.
  • Conduct pre-sales activities with potential clients from the standpoint of Five Jars as a service provider;
  • Create a strategy for current clients and conduct business analysis activities on request;
  • Lead the delivery team regarding the discovery phase and communicate the business needs of stakeholders;


Day-to-day responsibilities
Responsibilities will be divided into three strategic directions:

Pre-Sales
  • Attend pre-sales meetings and perform clients interview for the strategic direction
  • Analyze the requirements and propose project strategy (Experience Design and Technical Solutions)
  • Estimate projects and provide estimate reviews
  • Present proposals to the client and represent the team from a technical standpoint
  • Hand over won projects to delivery teams and ensure that all findings and expectations of the pre-sales phase are captured and understood

Strategy
  • Build annual strategy for current clients
  • Attend ongoing meetings with clients to identify upsell opportunities (separately or with the Customer Success Manager)
  • Attend ongoing meetings with clients to discuss project strategy and share insights
  • Represent the company strategically in industry-specific communities (museums, health, fitness)
  • Analyze capability gaps within client organizations or pain points for the target market. Suggest improvement methods and appropriate solution options

Delivery
  • Perform a discovery phase
  • Oversee and adjust project strategy during delivery
  • Serve as a bridge between the client and delivery team
  • Gather and analyze data, analytics and results from the ongoing projects
  • Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders, project managers, and teams to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs. Manage requirements
  • Prioritize requirements and manage their allocation. Define quality attributes (non-functional requirements), including external interfaces and constraints
  • Monitor solution implementation and conduct internal and external solution acceptance. Manage solution acceptance criteria
  • Care about continuous improvement of customer satisfaction


Professional skills
Required professional skills for being successful with goals and expected results.

MUST have skills:
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (fluent);
  • 2+ years of experience in web development as a Business Analyst role;
  • Experience in user experience and design;
  • Experience in prototyping solutions and demoing a vision to the client;
  • Experience in analytics;
  • Experience in working with a remote team;
  • Experience in IT web-development company;
  • Ability to work independently without a supervisor;
  • Proactive attitude and motivation to be a team player;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly get into technical details;
  • Result-orientedness and readiness to take ownership of the project;
  • Understanding software development lifecycle and testing processes.

Nice to have skills:
  • Pre-sales experience;
  • Knowledge of content management systems (Drupal CMS) and technologies;
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies.
