Assistant Financial Analyst (M+ Museum)

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

The position will be responsible for:

• performing daily accounting functions including account receivable and payable, staff reimbursement and journal voucher preparation;  
• assisting in monthly account closing and reconciliation;
• preparing the monthly financial reports to highlight areas of risks and opportunities for management review in a timely manner;
• assisting the finance manager in compiling financial analysis, performing ERP set-up and establishing operational workflows; and
• supporting other ad hoc duties for the management as and when required.

 The ideal candidate should:

• be a qualified accountant or in the final stage of qualification with a recognised university degree in finance, accounting or equivalent;
• have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in a multinational/large organisation;
• preferably have a good understanding of and be familiar with the public sector in Hong Kong
• be a team player with good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting;
• be well-versed in Excel and Powerpoint capabilities; and
• be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
