You will be adding value and improving our operations by helping to establish or improve existing controls and processes. As well as generating business ‘buy in’ to Internal Audit by explaining impacts of observed controls and jointly implementing solutions.

You will be accountable for:

  • Progressing the annually agreed audit plans.
  • Following up on previous audits and reporting on them.
  • Testing systems and the evaluation of risks and controls.
  • Helping functions to resolve internal control issues.
  • Developing new audit programs.
  • Managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Help taking Internal Audit forward through new techniques and implementations.

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • You will have experience within an Auditor role.
  • Background in accounting and auditing.
  • Experience of analysing data and data mining.
  • CIA or Accountancy (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Technical & People Skills:

  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear report writer.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools.
  • You will need to be objective and unbiased in your role, using critical thinking and demonstrating strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity in all your work.

This is a hybrid role with one visit to head office per week.
