Your field of responsibility

Help us drive change: A unique and challenging role within the Group Strategic & Financial Analytics team, with significant potential for future growth within Credit Suisse and working closely with senior management in a global context and representatives in London, New York and Zurich. A significant opportunity to learn about all aspects of Credit Suisse’s businesses and to understand the financial and strategic positioning of Credit Suisse Group, its divisions and to contribute to its development. The function is within a team responsible for formulating strategic and financial analyses to the board and senior management while driving important initiatives and projects involving Group Finance, Credit Suisse Group’s external financial disclosure (including the quarterly earnings presentation), and conducting in-depth competitor and business performance analyses. You will be working on various strategic projects and ad hoc analyses and presentations for senior management including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Credit Suisse Group and that work will involve the presentation of financial/strategic/market intelligence analyses to senior management, business managers and other departments within the firm. You will have the freedom to pro-actively drive value-added initiatives.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, we believe you should possess the following skillset and experience: 

  • Excellent university degree or equivalent; additional qualifications such as e.g. CFA, MBA desirable, but not compulsory
  • Investment banking experience / prior experience in working and communicating with top management up to Executive Board a plus, but not compulsory
  • Professional level of financial modelling and ability to translate complex issues into appropriate and digestible messages for both senior management as well as stakeholders outside the bank (investors, analysts, regulators); professional knowledge of spread-sheet and presentation software (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional analytical mindset and track record of innovative analytics and research; natural curiosity and a mentality of embracing change; proof points of exceptional performance
  • Willingness and ability to work against tight deadlines with the highest degree of accuracy and a collaborative attitude; flexible and adaptive team player
  • Fluency in English is required, no further language requirements apply
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
