Strategic Command Accounting Operations Assistant Manager

The Financial Accounting Operations team ensures the integrity of the Command’s financial accounts, by understanding, supporting and providing advice to the subordinate organisations, monitoring and investigating the accounts for anomalies, and making sure the quarterly reporting is accurate and on time.  Our team lay the groundwork to provide assurance to our seniors that the accounts are correct at year-end.

UKStratCom is one of Defence’s four Commands, bringing together the subordinate organisations, including Defence Intelligence, Joint Force Development, Defence Digital, Defence Medical Services, Defence Support, and Permanent Joint Headquarters. We ensure that the five warfighting domains of maritime, air, land, cyber and space are integrated, giving UKStratCom a pan-Defence role. The UKStratCom Headquarters’ staff in Northwood provide the vital strategy, planning, resource and capability oversight, governance and assurance support to the Commander.
