Top Level Budget Finance Business Partner HEO

The Air Command Top Level Budget (TLB) Finance Business Partner (FBP) team are looking for a motivated individual to join our small In Year Management (IYM) team.  The TLB FBP team analyse and consolidate the Air Domain position for both In Year (IY) and over the 10 year Annual Budget Cycle (ABC), consolidating returns from the TLB Plan with the Air facing Infrastructure Plan (IP) and Equipment Plans (EP).

The role necessitates working closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Command and Defence Resources. 

The role provides an opportunity to develop finance skills and knowledge, work with the D Res Senior Leadership Team as well as Defence Resources.

You will be based at Headquarters Air Command in the village of Walters Ash. We can offer you access to a heavily subsidised gym, small shop and cafe. You will be responsible for the collection, review, analysis and consolidation of the TLB and Air facing IP monthly submissions for inclusion in the Air Domain monthly reporting to Defence Resources.

You will be the primary interface with Financial Operations, advising on Defence requirements and working together to ensure they can be met.

Arrange, support and minute reviews at all levels

You will oversee the Control Total (CT) moves within and out of the Command and carry out reconciliations for Senior Leadership Team sign off

This is a role which covers a broad range of skills and as such you will need to be an individual who can communicate well and form effective relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
