Our client is a very reputable and solid Corporate Services provider, well-known by their dynamic working atmosphere. We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer that will be assisting their internal Finance department. The ideal candidate would be self-driven and able to manage his/her own work load whilst eager to learn and develop in this field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in all book-keeping functions including bank reconciliations, posting of invoices and maintaining all account for receivables/payables up to Trial balance.
  • Preparing and processing payments in a timely manner Assisting in the monthly client billing process/sending out invoices to clients
  • Assisting in preparation of VAT returns
  • Liaising with Auditors, Tax and VAT Department and MBR, necessary and as directed by the Head of Dept Filing of documents

Requirements:

  • An Advanced Level in Accounting is required;
  • Previous experience in an accounting role would be considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of sage would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written;
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with external and internal departments ensuring lines of communication remain open;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Competent in the use of standard office tools including Microsoft Office and other; Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
