Chief Finance Officer/Executive Director of Strategy and Partnerships
As Chief Finance Officer/Director of Strategy & Partnerships at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust you will be key to the delivery of Liverpool Women’s ambitious vision for women’s healthcare. Liverpool has a long and distinguished history of focusing on the health of women and their families and you will be joining us at a critical point in our organisation’s development as we actively plan our services for future generations.
You will be an experienced Finance professional working at Deputy or VSM level within a complex public sector environment. As a voting member of our unitary Board, you will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management and development of the Trust’s Financial and Capital Strategy. You will work closely with the Medical and Nurse Directors to ensure quality and safety remain at the forefront of all decision making. As Strategy lead, you will be accountable for the development and implementation of the Trust’s Strategy and the creation of innovative and effective strategic, system-wide partnerships, aligned to the delivery of ‘best in class’ outcomes, great experience for patients and effective use of resources. You will be ambitious for our patients, their families, and the community we serve.

Executive, voting Director and member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation Trust, contributing to all aspects of the work of the Trust. The postholder has specific responsibilities for ensuring sound financial management, the development of the Trust’s Financial & Capital Strategy alongside the development and implementation of the Trust’s Strategy and the creation of innovative and effective strategic system-wide partnerships aligned to the delivery of best-in-class outcomes, great experience for patients and effective use of resources.
All Directors work as part of a cohesive team and are expected to take lead responsibility for corporate and Trust wide outcomes above and beyond their immediate responsibilities; particularly to develop and deliver strategic transformation. Directors share responsibility and participate in the work to promote patient and public involvement, to achieve the corporate objectives of the Trust, and effective communications with all staff and strategic partners. services, ensuring high quality care and the delivery of performance standards in a safe and sustainable way.
