Highly successful and growing E-Commerce business looking for a finance manager

Client Details

SME E-Commerce business based in West Kent looking for a finance manager to join their growing business.

Description

  • Maintain accounts by posting purchase invoices, daily bank recs and managing supplier payment runs
  • Prepare Monthly management accounts with month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Manage daily cashflow for team use, planning for future cash and expenditure
  • Prepare weekly margin reports, with financial reconciliations from revenue streams for internal distribution
  • Review and monitor monthly EU VAT Returns
  • Prepare, review, and submit quarterly UK VAT returns.

Profile

Playing a key role in supporting the CFO and senior management team, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally from practice, looking for your first or second role in Commerce.

Essential:

  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Highly IT literate, including excellent Excel Skills (Vlookups & pivot tables)
  • Wants to work in a small finance function including hands on financial accounting, management accounting and reporting

Ideal:

  • International - Multicurrency / Overseas VAT / International Supply Chain
  • Fast paced commercial environment
  • SME - preferably owner managed businesses

Job Offer

The Finance Manager is paying £50-55,000 depending on experience with great career progression opportunities.
