Interim Financial Accountant

The interim financial account will assist the Director of Finance and additional senior finance members within the monthly management accounts and data, enabling the efficient management of the organisation.

My client is a religious, Not for Profit organisation, based within the North West.

Description

As the Interim Financial Accountant you will:

• Provide meaningful report to committees as required.
• Management Accounts are produced on a quarterly basis.
• Full commentary and reports, showing the debtors and creditors.
• Posting accruals and prepayments for all areas.
• Prepare meaningful cash flow forecast and statements.
• Liaise and act as the point of contact for external auditors.
• Assist and support the Parishes alongside the Parish Management Accountant.
• Management of the transaction processing team.
• Ensure all transactions are processed as appropriate.
• Ensure all debts are chased in a timely manner.
• All purchase invoices are paid appropriately.

Profile

The successful Interim Financial Accountant:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience within management accounts.
• Analytic and problem solving experience and techniques to define problems; preferably within a complex organisation.
• Experience within accounting and business planning.
• Experience in delivering projects to tight deadlines..
• The ability to analyse financial issues and interpret information
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
• The ability to represent the ethos and objectives of the companies specialists.
• Exceptional IT skills, inclusive of Excel and within large financial systems.
• Subject to an Enhanced DBS
