About you

You are a motivated, driven, and confident ACCA student having completed some ACCA exams with a desire to complete your ACCA qualification. You take pleasure in achieving results and lifting others up whilst contributing to a friendly environment.  You can communicate confidently and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.

About the role

This is a hybrid role, where you will be working from our Islamabad office for 3 days a week and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.

Your working hours will be 11am – 8:00pm Pakistan time.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to carry out the role of a Senior accountant as well as demonstrate exceptional experience of:

  1. Preparing sole trader/partnership/limited Company accounts
  2. Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
  3. Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
  4. Preparing management accounts 
  5. Overseeing and reviewing work prepared by team members
  6. Training and developing junior team members
  7. Being a good team player
  8. Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked 
  9. Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with clients 

 

Technical Skills / Knowledge 

  • CA/ACA/ACCA Part/fully Qualified 
  • Bachelors Degree or higher preferred 
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Relevant UK accounts experience will be preferred  
  • Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems (eg Xero, Quickbooks etc) 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH formulas) 
  • Good knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax and VAT and the impact on accounts and client’s overall affairs 
  • Good knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning a set of UK limited company accounts
