Our client a well known & growing business based in Guidlford is looking for a Credit Controller - Hybrid to join their Accountancy team

Description

Credit Controller - Hybrid - Guildford

• Proactively manage debt collection for a worldwide multi-currency ledger, with key accounts - Assisting with US Ledger for Debt over 90 days
• Issue monthly statements and copy invoices where necessary
• Resolution of queries to facilitate payments from customers to bring payment into line with terms
• Liaise & communicate with internal departments as required in order to maintain an accurate position on customer accounts
• Prioritise and manage challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and identify accounts that will require special attention
• Updating the new SAGE Intaact sales ledger and reconciling all accounts
• Undertake reconciliations when necessary, and escalate if further action required
• Hold weekly debtor review meetings with CFO and Group FC
• Create Month end reports for Global Account Managers review
• Holiday cover for the Daily banking/cash allocation process (checking bank accounts/posting cash and saving remits in INVU)
• Input remittance or verbal information on Cash Forecasting sheet
• Maintaining the query log daily - Assist the R&P team in reducing the number of queries, by spotting trends and improving areas of weakness.
• Hold ad-hoc meeting with the team as and when required
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as required
• Maintaining the unallocated cash on both the Supplier/Customer accounts
