An exciting commercial finance opportunity to join a rapidly-growing business specialising in driving digital transformation and integration across the life safety, security and communications industry.

As Finance Manager, you will take-on and develop the reporting and forecasting of MI and financial information with the goal of promoting commercially focussed decision making across the business, driving, and optimising profitability and cashflow.

Description

  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting timetables supporting the provision of timely, accurate and commercially informative reporting.
  • Take on existing, and further develop value/add financial and MI reporting in response to the growing needs of the business and to serve key stakeholders in the business to inform and aid the decision-making process.
  • To own the annual budgeting process including the budget models, coordination of inputs by the business owners and production of the budget presentation for the Board and Investors.
  • To maintain a regular reforecasting timetable, coordinating stakeholders and partnering the business units to understand the key drivers of performance and ensure visibility of key risks and opportunities to the Leadership Team.
  • To own and develop forecasting models improving their speed and accuracy and identifying the commercially relevant variables.
  • Provide value/add commentary on variance analysis and partner key stakeholders to ensure they understand the impact of their plans and initiatives on the delivery of the budget and business objectives.
  • Assess the existing software systems and identify opportunities to improve functionality and work with software partners to design and implement improvements.
  • Working with 3rd party suppliers to develop Power BI reporting and leverage the benefits of the platform as a source of MI that can be accessed by key stakeholders to aid the decision-making process.

Profile

  • An intellectual, commecially savvy finance professional who is able to draw financial insights and present to the Senior Leadership team to help define strategy.
  • CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified with post-qualified experience and the ability to demonstrate knowledge of FP&A and reporting.

Job Offer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
