Your field of responsibility

We offer you a challenging role within the Financial Accounting function in Pune supporting the IB SPE’s within the International Entities team. Key responsibilities include the following: 

  • Maintaining the books and records of the entities under our scope and perform and review month-end close activities
  • Preparation and review of Group reporting disclosures to the Group Financial Reporting (‘GFR’)
  • Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly analytics and governance packs for GFR and Legal Entity Finance (‘LEF’) management
  • Preparation and review of statutory financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP
  • Preparation and review of local regulatory reporting
  • Design, documentation and testing of SOX Controls over accounting, reporting and regulatory reporting processes within the required timelines
  • Represent FA in New Business initiatives with close collaboration with front office and other support areas
  • Assist in review, implementation, and testing of various financial systems projects to improve data quality and efficiency throughout the firm.
  • Optimally interface with both internal and external auditors as required
  • Liaise and work with other functions in a truly global environment, including Product Control, Operations, Tax, IT, Auditors and Front Office.

Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess below: 

  • CA with 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting. Prior auditing experience in a Big 4/established firm will be an added advantage
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to comfortably present to senior management
  • Ability to build and maintain proven working relationships with functions across the organization including senior management within Group Finance
  • Ability to show initiative with a proven desire to learn, and to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Peoplesoft and Essbase knowledge is preferable
