Financial Analyst with SQL

What you'll do  

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll help to deliver the balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, and internal and external reporting.

Through the course of your work, you’ll also:

• Run daily and monthly controls of Balance Sheet statements for respective businesses, including reconciliation, analytical review and driver analysis (with macro analytic commentary)
• Prepare process automation using SQL in Access database
• Assist in funding requirements
• Assist in establishing, documenting and following operating procedures which includes controls to meet policy requirements

The skills you'll need  

We’re looking for a qualified accountant or someone who is working towards this. You’ll have experience of providing financial information for review, gained within a financial services environment.

We’ll also look to you to bring:

• Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing key financial deliverables
• Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of statutory accounts production
• Basic of investments banks products (IR, FX derivatives, repos, bonds)
• Knowledge of SQL and Access
• An understanding and knowledge of the financial control environment
• An astute eye for detail and the ability to investigate issues effectively
