Senior Business Controller - Real Estate - Brussels

For a fast-growing Real Estate organization, we are looking for a Senior Business Controller to join the team.

Client Details

They are active in Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Luxembourg and are developing their activities as they are growing.

The Senior Business Controller will directly report to the CFO and CEO and have the opportunity to be part of the launch and international expansion of the organization.

Description

This creation of role, based in Brussels, happens in order to strengthen the Group Finance Team.

The main responsibilities include:

• Developing a real controlling structure with operational reviews with the business
• Analyzing the projects budgets and their profitability
• Drawing market tendencies and accompanying the different the business in their decision-making process
• Providing ad hoc analysis to the Direction and the Business
• Managing the quarterly reporting processes
• Managing the continuous performance follow up and processes improvement

Profile

As the function is at Group Level and will work closely with the C-Level, the right Senior Business Controller will gather a certain set of soft skills and experience:

• Master's degree in Finance / Business Management / Economics
• At least 5 years or Business Controlling experience
• Experience in the sector is an added value
• Excellent command of French & English, Dutch knowledge is an added value
• Basic knowledge of IFRS norms and consolidation
• You are curious, autonomous, and flexible
• You are result-oriented and have a helicopter view
• You have excellent communication skills
