FS Chief Operating Officer team is responsible for Transformation, FSLT support, Group Simplification/Cost Reduction, DCEO Finance, Finance Systems & Control and other accountabilities.
The team adds value to the Group by:
- Preparing and providing timely and accurate financial information for a number of the Group’s Subsidiaries primarily in the Colonial Holdings subgroup
- Supporting the monthly reporting of results by the IFS Asia business unit and contribute to a strong financial control environment
- Assisting the team in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to delivering the FS Transformation strategic plan through simplification
Do work that matters
- Delivery of results, board papers, financial statements, journals/reconciliations, cash flow management, AFSL reporting, invoicing, regulatory and statutory reports for the subsidiaries within the Subsidiary Reporting team, to business unit finance teams, subsidiary boards, ASIC, ATO and other authorities.
- Preparation and review of month end processing, reconciliations and half- and full-year group consolidation packs for the CBA Group annual report.
- Work cohesively with customers in business unit finance teams, Financial Services and other service providers.
- Consistently demonstrate role model behaviour to drive positive cultural change, productive working relationships and a high performance culture.
- Contribute to a diverse range of projects encompassing process improvements, legal entity structures, system changes and other ad hoc project initiatives.
- Delivery of any operational processes specific to the portfolio of subsidiaries
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess
- Strong financial control disciplines
- Knowledge of the financial reporting framework and strong technical skills, including AIFRS
- Demonstrated capacity to work in highly pressured & volatile environments
- Experience in a financial reporting role in the Banking or Financial Services sector
- Accuracy and attention to detail
