Enterprise Architecture team are pleased to announce the advertisement of a Business Analyst role within Data Management and Architecture - DDaT.

Main duties of the job

The primary aim of this role is to provide business analysis and change management expertise to support Enterprise Architecture projects and consultancy assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of business analysis assignments to support the development of innovative new SCW products and services
  • Support the development of the Enterprise Architecture business practice for SCW including capacity, capability and ways of working
  • Quality assurance of business analysis assignments and outputs

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level or equivalent, such as further training or significant experience in business analysis, or supporting change management.
  • Knowledge and experience of application of a range of investigative/business analysis and change management processes, tools and techniques.
  • Experience of managing and motivating a team and reviewing performance of the individuals.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level or equivalent, such as further training
  • Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development


Desirable criteria
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body. E.g. ISEB/BCS
  • Business Analysis qualification (ISEB or CBAP)
  • MSP Practitioner or PRiNCE2 Practitioner

SCW offers agile and hybrid ways of working. Hybrid working is a type of flexible working where employees blend working from different locations. It offers the employee the ability to choose to work wherever and however they are most productive, whether it be in an office, at home, or a customer site. Office location can be flexible within the SCW estate and will be agreed upon offer of contract.

SCW staff that are in posts considered to be agile will not be expected to attend office space for general working but will be required on occasions to attend face to face meetings and collaborative working sessions that may require travel to their home base or other locations across the estate or customer sites.
