About the role

The Strategic PMM Lead is accountable for delivering fast, accurate & insightful decision making by leveraging detailed analytics on historical pricing data, customer patterns and market trends. They will support & enable Finance & Business Leaders to focus on strategic decision making to maximize the Company profitability. Spearhead a shift to value pricing, focusing on customer and market insight driven analysis and forward looking opportunities aligned to business strategy.

What would you do?

  • Manage the end-to-end pricing process for key Strategic Accounts / high priority strategic opportunities
  • Provide insightful data on market expectations and margins to enable the Commercial teams to carry out successful price negotiations
  • Leverage detailed analytics on historical pricing data, customer patterns and market trends to ensure key issues and challenges our business customers may be facing are addressed
  • Works with the Regional PMM lead and wider team providing input into the overall pricing strategy and executing against it
  • Part of the decision making process for margin deviation and currency / raw material coverage
  • When required, works with sales and customer care to resolve pricing disputes
  • Improve quality and accuracy across the end-to-end Price setting process
  • Management and execution of pricing margin process for specific area of responsibility

What will you need to be successful?

  • 10+ years experience in Margin Management, margin planning or Pricing is required.
  • Previous experience in massive price increase processes and having been part of the inflation estimate
  • Previous experience in monitoring the key and material projects from a pricing perspective.
  • High level of proficiency in Advanced excel management (SAP, Salesforce or Go to market is desirable)
  • excellent communication in written and conversational English language is required.
  • Came from a B2B company and/or food industry would be desirable or a plus
