Join our WW Transportation Risk & Compliance team, partnering with Amazon's Transportation & Logistics leaders to identify and mitigate risk in the rapidly growing and complex, global environment of Last-Mile deliveries.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in Payroll management, Social Security obligations, Employment and Tax law fields who will be in charge of delivering Third-Party payroll audits on a regular basis. The ideal individual is passionate about payroll matters and willing to partner with different Amazon teams to optimize compliance programs that will include designing risk assessments, detailing governance programs, and evaluating policies for Third-Parties basing on Amazon's Supplier Code of Conduct.

Key job responsibilities

• Third-Parties management

• Perform audits of Third-Parties according to applicable laws, standards and Amazon's requirements

• Verification, evaluation and assessment of contracted or newly appointed Third-Parties to ensure compliance with regulatory compliance and payroll

• Preparation and execution of payroll audit with a data-oriented approach

• Creation and implementation of concepts and recommendations for action in case of identified breaches of contract

• Development of payroll audit programs in large-scale with clear quality standards for planned and ad-hoc reviews

• Participation in WW/EU special projects/assignments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree

• 3+ years of experience in Payroll management/accounting

• Fluency in German and English, both in writing and in speaking required

• Deep knowledge of legislation, employment law and payroll statutory obligations

• Demonstrated advanced Excel skills

• Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings

• Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Payroll Auditing and/or compliance experience (in both consultancy firms or companies)

• Labor consultant certification

• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects

• Proven Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain industry experience, preferably in a similar or equivalent role

• Understanding of basic data analytics and tools such as Tableau, SQL (intermediate to advanced)

• Third foreign language written and verbal skills (Spanish, Italian and/or Dutch)

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and Third-Parties through influence
