Management Accountant

As the Management accountant you will support the Department Head within the maintenance and progression of systematic and competent accountancy functions.

Description

The key responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to the following duties and tasks;

• Producing the monthly management accounts
• Monitoring budgeting and reducing costs
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Providing variance reports for the wider organisation
• Managing the month end process
• Financial reporting
• Maintenance of the finance software system
• Working with Microsoft Excel

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Analytic and problem solving experience and techniques to define problems.
• Experience within accounting and business planning tools.
• Experience in assisting small teams while delivering projects to tight deadlines.
• Initiative and ability to successfully implement new ideas, with driving success.
• Exceptional IT skills, inclusive of Excel and within financial systems.
