Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting & Business Reporting, this role will support the monitoring and reporting of the division's Financial Management Information, working with the management accounting team to align reporting standards and criteria.

Responsible for Middle office reporting, control and management of inter-business agreements, you will have regular engagement with stakeholders from Front Office, Finance and senior management

This role is based within Santander Corporate and Investment Bank (SCIB) in London.

The difference you'll make.

  • Providing detailed accurate Management Information and reports, that enable robust decision making and business monitoring.
  • Managing Transfer Pricing mechanisms and Monitoring, control and management of FTP tool
  • Producing Flash P&Ls and commentary on financial performance (WD-1, WD4 & WD10) for the global team
  • Coordinating and preparing key strategy presentations, including monthly business reviews, for senior stakeholders
  • Reviewing and analysing new PIAP proposals.
  • Supporting the internal & external audit compliance process.
What you'll bring.

  • Previous experience in a management information and control function, as well as involvement in the budget/strategic planning process.
  • An understanding of key drivers of wholesale markets profit & loss and balance sheet drivers.
It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration etc).
  • Understanding of key drivers of wholesale markets profit & loss and balance sheet drivers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of treasury / wholesale products and services, including cash and funding instruments, derivatives, equities and bonds.
  • Flexibility and strong ability to respond quickly to changing requirements and to work under pressure
What else you need to know.

The position will be on a 12-month FTC, based in Triton Square London.
