The day-to-day activities:

  • Functional : Support the Business Efficiency lead in developing a deep understanding of the business model through the lens of a single customer, product or transaction
  • Support the Business Efficiency leads to building, embedding, and monitoring unit economics for products/services by building transaction and customer-level costing
  • Support the Business Efficiency lead in building strategic competitive intelligence by benchmarking key metrics against other global and regional peers
  • Support the Business Efficiency lead in identifying and implementing strategic opportunities for the effectiveness of spending relating to workforce, systems, vendors, and partners
  • Assist with other ad-hoc assignments as required
  • Customer : Product Heads, Business Heads
  • Financial : Enable team efficiencies
  • People : Communicate with multiple internal stakeholders i.e. FP&A teams, Business and Product teams, Procurement teams

The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
  • Strong Excel skills in building complex financial models
  • Exposure to Oracle ERP/EPM or other Accounting and management reporting systems.
  • Understand Technology Vendor Contracts and the concept of Capitalisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Preferably with experience in the banking industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial/business analysis and supporting cross-location teams
  • Strong integrity and not afraid to raise concerns or highlight opportunities.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both within and across business units
  • Good time management skills, able to deliver quality work on time.
  • Structured thought process and strong analytical ability
