You will:

Reporting to the Regulatory Capital Internal Reporting Team Lead in Budapest, the main responsibility is to:

  • Main responsibility is to execute daily deliverables related to Supplementary Leverage Ratio (SLR) and Capital analysis
  • Support the production of weekly updates to Senior Management and preparation of reporting decks, provide commentaries explaining movements on firm Capital movements, SLR and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) drivers
  • Partner with other regulatory controllers' cross US region and locally with capital calculation teams to explain and validate daily or weekly variances in SLR, capital and RWA numbers, investigate and reconcile data
  • Interact with the business unit and other stakeholders within the infrastructure
  • Challenge processes and procedures, enhance controls and support strategic development of firm systems on SLR, capital and RWA reporting

Qualifications

You have:

  • Hold an Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years finance experience preferably in international banking environment (regulatory reporting, risk management, liquidity, treasury) or in finance and accounting operations
  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge with financial background and risk management is a plus
  • Product knowledge across a wide range of Equity and Fixed Income products is desirable
  • Have the flexibility required to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Have the ability to work effectively within local and global teams
  • High level of guardianship — ensuring exceptions are identified, resolved and escalated on a timely basis

Team Profile:

The Regulatory Capital Internal Reporting controllers' team is responsible for preparing Leverage Assets, Capital and Risk Weighted Assets related internal management reporting and other financial analysis for Morgan Stanley's Business Units in a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The group liaises with Regulatory Reporting teams in New York as well as with other Finance teams locally and on global level.
