Client Details

My client is a fast-paced public sector organisation based in the Leeds area, looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their already established team. They are offering up to £50,000 and a hybrid working style.

Description

The responsibilities of a Finance Business Partner include but are not limited to coordinating and maintaining the financial returns process, providing and presenting trend analysis and interpretation of financial information to senior stakeholders. Providing comprehensive financial and business planning, advice and support to facilitate the successful achievement of the strategic objectives. Proactively working with network and other colleagues to develop on-going value-for-money reviews and cost efficiency evaluations. Contributing to the strategic planning that underpins the allocation of resources, leading the financial modelling for the annual funding proposal ensuring accuracy throughout. Ensuring that allocations are guided by the consistent application of agreed principles, whilst removing perverse incentives or other unintended consequences.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIPFA) ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working previously in a Finance Business Partnering position ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working within public sector financial administrative function and familiarity of relevant administrative procedures ESSENTIAL
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ESSENTIAL
• Be immediately available or on a weeks notice period ESSENTIAL
• Have worked in a Public Sector organisation previously DESIRABLE

£45,000 - £450,000 equivalent on a daily rate + Finance Business Partner opportunity + flexible working + Immediate start
