Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly account, financial and management reports.
2. Ensure timely statutory filing and all accounting systems, practices, controls and procedures are fully compliant with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards and applicable reporting standards.
3. Able to manage SST/TTX reporting including keeping abreast with Kastam.
4. Responsible of budgeting and forecasting and monitoring of actual performance against approved budget/forecast.
5. Consolidate periodic cash flow forecast and review funding position of the Group
6. Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirement and group policies, including liaison with auditors, company secretaries, tax agents and other statutory authorities.
7. Manage working capital and liaise closely with the operating teams in relation to billings and collecting.
8. Provide financial inputs on all projects/ initiative within the business division.
9. Lead and liaise closely with external parties for matters related to finance operations services.
10. Liaise with auditor and prepare audit schedules as to ensure smooth processes of timely audit filling.
11. Attend to any ad-hoc task / analysis requested by the management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
1) Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy and ACCA.
2) At least 5-10 years of working experience preferable with at least 2-3 years in an accounting/audit firm for this position.
3) Strong knowledge in MFRS standards, consolidation (incl consolidation systems), financial reporting, statutory audits.
4) Proficiency in MS Office application, UBS Accounting systems and any others accounting systems.
