JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and monitor the team to ensure smooth daily operation in Finance Dept.
- To support the business growth together with the management team.
- Oversee the end-to-end finance functions and manage the month end closing activities as well as financial, management and group reporting requirements.
- Monitor financial statement to ensure the compliance of all accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to Management.
- Prepare analysis and data for management information in decision making process.
- To review monthly journal entries, reconciliation and supporting schedule
- Liaise with banker, external auditor, tax agent and company secretary.
- Co-ordinate and attend to year-end audit matters including Test of Control auditing.
- Preparation and compilation of budgeting, forecasting, financial plan and cost monitoring.
- Assist in credit limit approval of new customer's account and extracting BIR report from Credit Bureau upon request.
- Checking Vendor's Reconciliation from time to time.
- Checking transaction history relating to legacy issues, participating in problem solving discussion with relevant stakeholders.
- To review and monitor all internal controls and accounting related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure compliance and safeguard the company's assets and interests.
- Perform any other ad-hoc activities as and when required by the Management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting/Finance or possess Professional Certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in related field and preferably 5 years in management role.
- Preferable the candidate with working experience in warehouse/ logistic for this position.
- Familiar with business laws, Companies Act, SST Act, GST Act, Income Tax Act, Withholding Tax Act & custom requirement.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, financial planning & analysis, forecasting, financial compliance.
- Work independently, possess strong leadership, people management and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines for monthly reports and closing as well as related ad hoc activities.
