Manager, TAFE Assurance

The position of Manager, TAFE Assurance will lead a small team who are responsible for the delivery of coordinated, network-wide communications, TAFE oversight of timely complaints handling, and broader OTCD correspondence.

Specifically, the Manager will provide oversight for the successful implementation of a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, development of a forward program of communications activity to the TAFE network including commissioning of associated assets. This role will also be responsible for implementing complaints handling systems and processes for the OTCD and the 'intelligence' driven approach to quality assurance that is below the threshold to trigger action by current regulators.

The role is responsible for the management, development and maintenance of supportive linkages of workflows through the Unit and between TAFEs, the TAFE Partnerships and Governance Division, and broader OTCD and HES, providing advice, implementing, and working on various projects on behalf of the Executive Director.

The successful candidate will be reponsible for managing systems and processes for the collection and reporting of information relating to service quality and assurance, as well as leading the Division's TAFE network cordination functions.

The role will also lead on identifying emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of projects and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations, prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs and cabinet submissions on complex matters, lead and drive projects and provide insights for action and advice aligned with continuous TAFE quality improvement and TAFE Network sustainability and performance approach.

Leading a small team, you will build strong and enduring relationships with TAFE senior executives with the purpose of driving improved outcomes, performance and accountability. The role would suit a high performing leader with experience in managing diverse stakeholder relationships who has an interest in communications, complaints handling and working in an environment where performance management is essential.
