Client Details

Michael Page Finance are currently working with a large, privately owned property management business in Dudley who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their large Finance department. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are in a period of rapid growth. This role would enable the successful candidate to act as a "mini FD" overseeing statutory accounts for 20 businesses.

Description

As Financial Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the production of timely and accurate Monthly Management Accounts (Including P&L, Fixed Assets Register)
• Produce timely and accurate weekly/monthly management information and commercial performance reviews
• Develop reports and analysis to drive forward commercial understanding, business performance and help make commercial decisions on key measures such as customer type, price group, product and mix of supply
• Control and manage monthly provisions for inclusion in periodic management accounts (Such as Rebates)
• Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting to Senior Management and Group Board members
• Analysis and reporting of revenue, costs and profitability across product range and customer mix
• Evaluation of new customers and future business opportunities

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced application knowledge of MS Office suite in particular Excel.
• Experienced working with high volumes and tight deadlines while prioritising workloads
• Key attention to detail and personal/professional accountability
