Description

  • Process invoices, including pdf tagging, logging and sending to the budget holders
  • Liaising with budget holders on coding of invoices
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist with monitoring credit card expenditure
  • Assisting in the preparation of cashbook and petty cash transactions
  • Assisting in processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
  • Dealing with internal and external queries, including taking payments
  • This is a fixed-term opportunity with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the contract.

Profile

  • Ledger experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Enjoy working to monthly deadlines
  • An aptitude for IT - good knowledge of Excel would be essential and other software packages like SUN and BACS would be an advantage
  • Must be able to work with accuracy and diligence
  • Friendly and enthusiastic, with the communication skills to support both financial and non-financial colleagues
  • Experience of working within the Care Home sector would be beneficial, but not essential
