We offer

An exciting ‘on Call’ role in our Global Asset Liability Management team within Treasury with flexible working hours (during normal office hours). Payment will be on an hourly basis, enabling you to fit assignments around your studies. Global Treasury is part of Credit Suisse's Finance (CFO) division optimizing the use of financial resources and acting as a guardian of the bank's financial franchise. Global Treasury delivers valuable risk analysis and control around Liquidity, Funding, Interest Rates, FX and related Regulatory Change to the Board of Directors, Executive Board, CFO, Business Unit clients, key partners in Shared Services, Rating Agencies and Regulators.

  • In this position, you will provide dedicated coverage on Asset Liability Management topics (i.e. Interest Rate Risk Management) for Executive Board, internal Business Unit clients, key partners in Shared Services and Regulators
  • This is a multi-faceted position in a dynamic, fast-paced and evolving environment as well as a collaborative work atmosphere
  • You take ownership of in-depth analysis and presentations for senior management discussions assisting the development of the global Net Interest Income strategy
  • You will have the chance to successfully drive ad-hoc analysis on various special topics and get an insight in different areas of the bank
  • In regular contact with other departments (i.e. Private Bank, Product, Risk- and Liquidity Management, Research) you will build up positive working relationships

This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience

You are currently enrolled in a University with focus on Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering (Bachelor or beginning Master) and you have first work experience in Finance & Banking (ideally within Treasury, Risk Management, Funding, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Consulting). This enables you to contribute to the team’s excellence and to be part of an ongoing global story of success.

  • You are a dedicated problem solver with programming experience, particularly in R or Python, you have strong analytical skills, and you are passionate to learn new things
  • Your multi-tasking and time management skills enable you to work on multiple projects with a high attention to detail, you have the flexibility and the passion to work in a dynamic environment
  • You are highly motivated person with a positive personality and enjoy collaborating with an international team and flexible working arrangements
  • You are an objective, results-oriented teammate personality
  • Your strengths are strong communication in English, German is an asset
